Dr Stone Anime – First Impression

Now I’m going to review this new anime, Dr. Stone  For those who haven’t read the manga or watch the anime yet, I’ll try not to spoil the story so much. Dr. Stone’s story revolves around Senku Ishigami, a high schooler with extraordinary love for science. One day a mysterious light petrifies all humanity and put an end to civilization. Thousands of years later, Taiju Ooki broke free from his petrification and found out that his childhood friend, Senku, has been expecting and preparing for his awakening. While trying to survive in the post apocalyptic world, Senku is determined to solve the mystery behind the petrification and restore human civilization.

This anime based on popular manga, Dr. Stone. The manga itself is really worth reading. That’s why I truly hyped up for this adaptation. Up until now, I am not disappointed by both the manga and the anime adaptation. The anime was beautifully executed. Except for a few funny scenes from manga that were omitted, I am very, very satisfied with this anime. The art is very beautiful, the voice actors fits the characters perfectly, and the story goes at a good pace. And as a bonus, this anime has a really good soundtrack.

I love this series so much. It has a unique, interesting plot and loveable characters. Overall, this anime adaptation lived up to my expectation and I think it is really worth watching. I’ll recommend you to give it a try. There will be 24 episodes to watch. Enjoy !
