Tenki No Ko : Weathering With You

Tenki no Ko : Weathering With You is the latest work of Makoto Shinkai and CoMix Wave Films. Makoto Shinkai is best known as the director of Kimi no Na Wa (Your Name). The movie is scheduled to air on July 19, 2019.

This movie tells a story about a boy named Hotaka Morishima and a girl named Hina Amano who lived in an era where the weather’s harmony gets chaotic. Hodaka Morishima is a high school student who ran away from his home on a remote island and moves to Tokyo. But Hodaka Morishima’s life quickly going downhill and he found himself short on money. Eventually he found a job as a writer in a suspicious occult magazine.  On one rainy day, he meets Hina, a girl with mysterious ability to clear the sky simply by “praying”.
