The Promised Neverland – Anime

Finally we will soon be able to enjoy anime adaptation of the popular Japanese manga series The Promised Neverland. The manga itself is written by Kaiu Shirai and illustrated by Posuka Demizu. It has been serialized since August 1, 2016. The anime is scheduled to air on Januari 2019 and the first official teaser has been aired.

Synopsis :

Emma, Norman, and Ray are orphans living in a small orphanage house, Grace Field House with their siblings. As an orphan, they have a very pleasant life, a kind and loving “Mom”, delicious food, comfortable bed, and clean clothes. At that orphanage, eventually they are all going to be adopted and must leave the house by the age of 12. Their daily life includes helping each other preparing food, cleaning, other daily chores, and a daily exams, afterwards though, they are allowed to play to their hearts content as long as they do not leave the orphanage.

At one fateful night, Emma and Norman followed their recently adopted siblings with intention to give back her forgotten stuffed rabbit toy only to find a horrifying truth about the world they live in. Utilizing their intelligence, the children resolved to change their predetermined fate.
